PROTOTYPE AND TEST

For the Prototype we used wood, Styrofoam, and Grace ice and water shield. We created a sample of the design with four panels, with one covered by samples of Grace ice and water shield.
To test we created a prototype of 1x1 inch wood and styrafoam covered by grace ice and water shield. In order to test our prototype we submerged it in water, as well as spraying it with a water hose. After doing this we removed the Grace ice and water shield from the prototype and found that the wood and Styrofoam were dry.
For our next prototype we bought Rubber Bungee Cords, 1 inch Styrofoam, and L shaped connectors. With these materials we built a 2 panel prototype of our final design.
